Welcome to the Online Advisor. The system will ask the user a series of questions pertaining to the user’s academic and professional background. Once all questions have been answered, the system will generate an overview of the information supplied related to the Bachelor of Science Associate of Applied Science (AAS) transfer program.

This Online Advisor is for students and graduates of technical and industrial related AAS degree from the North Carolina Community College System.

  • Completion of your technical or industrial related AAS with C’s or higher in your coursework will allow a block of 37 technical credits to transfer.

  • The system will inquire about your general education courses that you have taken or plan to take as part of your requirements of your AAS degree.

  • The maximum credit hours that can be accepted from the community college is 63 (half the degree) thus leaving 26 hours of general education courses that can be completed at the community college.

The resulting information will assist you with what credits will transfer and what remaining credits you will be able to take at the community college , either before you apply or dual enrolled. Remember, you cannot be accepted to the BSIT program until you have completed your AAS.

Also, remember this information that you obtain from this system is not official and is based on your assumptions of what you have taken at the community college and the grades received. We look forward to working with you as you continue your educational career and becoming an ECU studen
t.
